School council 2014\/2015<\/p>\n

Our School Council is a representative group of students, who have been proposed and elected by their peers, to represent their views and raise issues. \u00a0 Mrs Ellis and Mrs Davies take their ideas to Mrs Thursfield. \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Our School Council:<\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel Duncan, Chole Allen, Orla Finn, Alice Astbury,<\/span><\/p>\n

Izaak Bellingham, Ayla Kantav, Mariam Ahmed, Olivia Thorpe,<\/span><\/p>\n

Dylan Tanawasa, Isme Dibble-Chapman, Trisha Elangovan,<\/span><\/p>\n

Emily Oliver, Joshua Palmer, Olivia Herman<\/span><\/p>\n

Our School Council can also propose and take forward initiatives and projects on behalf of their peers, and be involved in strategic planning and processes. <\/span><\/p>\n

Our charities, which the children have decided to support this year, are The City Dogs\u2019 Home, Save the Children and Children with Cancer UK. \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

The first event was \u2018Give a dog a dinner at Christmas\u2019. \u00a0During the week commencing the 24<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0November 2014 , the school council asked children and staff to bring to school dog food, toys and blankets. \u00a0These gifts were given to the City Dogs\u2019 Home. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our second event was held on the 12<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0December 2014 and was in support of Save the Children. \u00a0This is a campaign, which you may have seen advertised on the television. \u00a0The children donated some money and wore a Christmas jumper to school. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"R:\\The<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>\"\"<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>\"\"<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
