Casual Catering Assistant (Level 2)

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Catering Assistant to join our school kitchen team to help cover a period of long-term sickness. You’ll be joining a supportive, hard-working team with a great sense of humour and a positive working atmosphere.

This role offers 1–2 hours per day, ideal for someone seeking flexible, part-time work.

Main duties include:

· Assisting with the preparation, cooking and serving of food and drinks

· Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in line with health & safety and COSHH regulations

· Operating kitchen equipment (training provided)

· Cleaning, washing up and supporting the dining area

· Replenishing condiments and consumables

· Helping set up dining furniture and recording school meal information
